UCOM Hikari Fast Gigabit Access is an internet connection service provided by our ISP through networks built and operated by ARTERIA. The backbone configuration that includes redundancy to ensure stable, high quality connection, the service provides a comfortable internet environment that only a dedicated network can offer. Moreover, the service level agreement (SLA) includes 24-hour, year-round support to give users peace of mind.

Our wide range of bandwidths runs from 100 Mbps, suitable of office use, to upload and download speeds of 10 Gbps able to handle large-volume traffic such as video and other rich content and cloud services. We offer a selection of optimal plans to meet customer’s needs and applications. Our Standard Plan is provided on a best-effort basis suitable for customers who seek to keep operation costs down; while the Premium Plan is available for customers who wish to secure a certain level of guaranteed bandwidth for important data that requires stable bandwidth, such as backbone or voice systems.
FEATURE２Stable telecommunications with a dedicated access line
This is an internet connection service with a dedicated access line that provides each customer with a single optical fiber. This service is relatively unaffected by other user traffic, unlike shared lines that have multiple users, enabling stable use of telecommunications.
FEATURE３Multigigabit Ethernet support (2.5 Gbps / 5 Gbps)
Our copper line connections support multigigabit Ethernet (2.5GBASE-T / 5GBASE-T). We provide multigigabit Ethernet compatible equipment that allows use of existing LAN cabling (Cat5e and aboves*) without necessitating upgrade work, enabling a seamless transition to a 2.5 Gbps or 5 Gbps LAN environment.
* To use a 10 Gbps connection with copper line, please use Cat6A or higher LAN cables. Moreover, we recommended using Cat7 or higher LAN cables as the standard speed may not be achieved with some Cat6A LAN cables due to their individual characteristics.

The Premium Plan guarantees a certain bandwidth that is always available to be used for telecommunication. Communications that exceed the guaranteed bandwidth are provided on a best-effort basis. Burst communications up to 1 Gbps are possible.
SLA (service level agreement)
- Guaranteed network delay time
- If we receive a valid complaint from a contracted customer that the monthly average (nationwide average) for IP packet round trip time at all hubs across a network area designated by us is 25 milliseconds or longer, we will discount the monthly basic service charge .
- Guaranteed availability
- If we receive a valid complaint from a contracted customer that the cumulative time for network equipment or access equipment unavailability for one month is 43 minutes or longer, we will partially discount the monthly basic service charge.

- Packet loss rate guarantee
- If we receive a valid complaint from a contracted customer that the monthly average packet loss rate across an entire backbone network designated by us is 0.2% or higher, we will discount the monthly basic service charge.

The Standard Plan offers a low-cost, high-speed internet connection service provided on a best-effort basis.
Customers can select the most suitable service from a range of 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps lines to suit their office scale and business applications.

Premium Plan (Guaranteed bandwidth across a certain area)
The Premium Plan guarantees the bandwidth across a certain area to ensure stable bandwidth and enable an optimal internet connection services for important data telecommunications.
Customers can select the most suitable line for their use and applications from a contract bandwidth with upload and download speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Initial cost is 100,000 yen (excluding tax) for installation and construction work conducted on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:30). For installation and construction work on weekday nights or holidays, please contact your sales representative.
When requesting IP32, separate application and processing by JPNIC is required. Please consult with your sales representative for details.
The minimum usage period is one year. If the user cancels the contract before the end of the minimum usage period, the user will be charged the contract amount for the remaining number of days.
Please inquire for IP64 and later.
